My daughter is a great little artist and I’m very keen to encourage this, so my wife bought her a “Learn to Draw: Animals” book.

One of the great things about being a parent is that you can re-do all those kids’ things you loved but stopped because you “grew up”. So I picked up the book and started drawing. It is very cathartic.

I’m enjoying the activity and rediscovering a small talent I had as a kid but never pursued. Maybe time to do what I tell the kids to do – practice, and focus!
