Just tasted Veuve Cliquot Yellow Label Champagne … From 1953

(Tasted semi-blind) Amazing dark colour. Nose has wonderful evolved aromas of Worcester sauce (like a Bloody Mary), spice, truffles, orange citrus and some fresh ground coffee. Brilliant in the mouth. Spices abound. So complex, rounded, less biscuity and more towards a leafy spice, and baked oranges. Great acidity, brilliant still young but soft mousse. EXCELLENT!
